In this course, learn to make a comfortable personalized chair out of wood using traditional woodworking techniques. Teacher will bring your ideas to life in the form of a unique piece of furniture.
Go over the fundamentals that you need to bear in mind when making your piece. Study the structure and ergonomics of a chair and do an initial sketch based on example models. Take a took at the different types of wood and the tools and materials necessary to complete your project.

Now it's time to get to work! Start by making the arms and legs. Learn how to take measurements and mark the assembly holes. Get to work on the seat and the backrest.
